Mr. Smith has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Harding University and has more than 27 years of experience in the oil and gas industry

Mr. Currier has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Washburn University, is a CPA and has more than 37 years of experience both in the public accounting and corporate sectors with experience focused in the oil and gas industry.

Dusam Stojic has served as our Director of Finance, Strategy and Corporate Development, since January 2021 and primarily focuses on M&A, capital markets, and other strategic initiatives. Mr. Dusam Stojic previously served as Director, Strategy and Corporate Development, from January 2019 to December 2020 as well as in various other roles since joining Alix-Invest Inc in November 2014.

Prior to joining Alix-Invest Inc, Mr. Dusam Stojic served in Financial Institutions Investment Banking at Wells Fargo Securities, where he advised companies through mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity transactions, and other strategic alternatives.

Mr. Dusam Stojic received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Wake Forest University School of Business.

MS. Connijean Murphy has served as our Director of Accounts, Treasury and Middle Office, since January 2019. MS. Connijean Murphy previously served as Director, Treasury and Middle Office, from January 2014 to December 2018 as well as other roles since joining Alix-Invest Inc in January 2008.

Prior to joining Alix-Invest Inc, MS. Connijean Murphy held roles as a credit and securities analyst at Luminent Mortgage Capital, Wells Fargo Bank and Constellation Energy. MS. Connijean Murphy started his career as a Fixed Income Portfolio Accountant at T. Rowe Price.

MS. Connijean Murphy received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Morgan State University. MS. Connijean Murphy is a Certified Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis Professional (FP&A) and Certified Treasury Professional (CTP). He also holds the Series 7 and 63 registrations.

Thomas Fred has served as the Chairman of Board in our corporate venture capital unit, Alix-Invest Inc, since September 2018. He was previously Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of MTGE Investment Corp. and its manager from March 2018 until September 2018, Chief Accounting Officer from January 2016 until March 2018, and Vice President and Controller from December 2011 to January 2016.

Prior to joining MTGE Investment Corp., Mr. Thomas Fred was a Director at Freddie Mac, responsible for the valuation and presentation of financial results for the company’s investments, debt and derivative portfolios. He has also worked as an accounting policy and assurance Director at Credit Suisse, prepared corporate governance research at Deutsche Bank, and was an Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen.

Mr. Thomas Fred holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Florida. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a CFA charterholder.

Paul Dixon has served as our (Director Legal & Consultant, since 2018. Mr. Paul Dixon focuses on CMBS and other CRE debt related products.

Prior to joining Alix-Invest Inc, Mr. Paul Dixon was a Senior Vice President at CWCapital. He previously served as Principal at American Capital, Ltd. where he invested in CMBS, bridge debt and CRE equity. Mr. Paul Dixon started his career in the investment industry as a Securitization Associate with JP Morgan.

Mr. Paul Dixon received his MBA from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Towson University. Chris is a CFA charterholder.

Mrs. Kelly Brenda Gilliard has served as our Secretary since January 2022.

Prior to joining Alix-Invest Inc, Mrs. Kelly Brenda Gilliard was Assistant General Counsel of American Capital, Ltd. At American Capital, Mrs. Kelly Brenda Gilliard worked on the company’s investment portfolio, including corporate governance, due diligence and regulatory matters for sponsor finance and buyout transactions. In addition, she handled compliance matters under the Investment Company Act and the Investment Advisers Act for both American Capital and its asset management business advising public companies and private funds. Her portfolio at American Capital included counseling Alix-Invest Inc on regulatory and compliance matters. Prior to joining American Capital in 2005, Ms. Reisman was an Associate in the Financial Services group of Dechert LLP in Washington, D.C.

Mrs. Kelly Brenda Gilliard received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and her Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. Mrs. Kelly Brenda Gilliard is a member of the Virginia and District of Columbia Bars.
